DOHC and four valves

[edit]

The article states:

it was the first British bike with four valves per cylinder and twin overhead camshafts (although commonplace in Japanese machines).

Is it worth noting that the first Brit bike with four valves was the Triumph Ricardo (1921), and the Norton Manx (194&) had DOHC?

The prose would seem to be correct - that it had four valves and two camshafts per cylinder - and in a road bike, not a racer.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 12:07, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
