Hormizd VIHormizd V – There isn't Hormizd VI. Only V, see here https://iranicaonline.org/articles/hormozd-v, also see source of the article, also in the coins is written V or VI ΔώραΣτρουμπούκη (talk) 01:55, 4 December 2021 (UTC) ΔώραΣτρουμπούκη (talk) 01:55, 4 December 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 07:04, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose:
"Moshiri, who discovered and studied the coin, argued that the effigy belongs to Farrukh Hormozd, who came to power bearing the name Hormozd V and ruled simultaneously with Azarmidukht for more than a year. All of our contextual evidence emphasizes that this was, indeed, the case." - Parvaneh Pourshariati, Decline and Fall of the Sasanian Empire: The Sasanian-Parthian Confederacy and the Arab Conquest of Iran, p. 206.
"Hormizd V has been identified as Farrox-Hormizd, the General who may have had a hand and at in the death of Azarmigduxt. He was a powerful king as he minted coins as he minted coins in Xuzestan and Persis (Fars)." - Touraj Daryaee. When the End is Near: Barbarized Armies and Barracks Kings of Late Antique Iran, p. 49

Britannica is not WP:RS. And I mean not sure what you mean by 'Iranian encyclopedia' (Iranica?): Either way, Farrukh Hormizd/Hormizd V is a newly discovered figure in historiography, so he's bound to need get mentioned by a lot of older sources. As shown above, there's clear proof of his existence. --HistoryofIran (talk) 16:41, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
