I took details from a plaque erected by the City of Loma Linda at Hulda Crooks Park. The information about Day Peak/Needle specifically came from the Mt. Whitney article. Hulda Crook's interaction with children comes from childhood recollection. I'm going to try to find more and better sources. If somebody wants, I can post a picture of the plaque. Does anybody know an authoritative height for Mt. Whitney? John Elder 14:44, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
