Personal life
[edit]She is openly gay, and dating short-track speed skating olympian, Sanne van Kerkhof (competed in the 3000m relay (short track speed skating) at the Vancouver olympics): http://www.queerty.com/gay-dutch-speed-skater-ireen-wust-isnt-happy-her-sexuality-became-an-olympic-story-20100215 Ahmad123987 (talk) 01:55, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
But, it's rather odd to have that only as a Category and nothing mentioned in the article, only here in Talk page.82.141.65.241 (talk) 03:47, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

first name spelling
[edit]Why does it say, "Irene Karlijn (Ireen) Wüst" if her name is spelled "Ireen" everywhere? Shouldn't it just be "Ireen Karlijn Wüst"?
Is there information out there that justifies the "Irene" spelling, or something that explains the discrepancy? SpyGirlWho (talk) 21:12, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
