Question the approach to citing criticism

[edit]

I didn't put an NPOV template on the article because it appears there is a good-faith effort at NPOV. However, it is a distinctly non-NPOV result when one summarizes each viewpoint in a single sentence, then gives a long block quote to a notable favorable opinion. I expect that given Santorum's own notability, there is probably a more high-profile review that could be cited for the other side. Also, with or without such a review, the Dobson quote seems unnecessarily long; more importantly, on second reading, I see that it doesn't address the book at all. I'm going to replace it with a summary indicating Dobson's personal endorsement of Santorum in connection with the book; after all, Dobson's influence is such that the action of endorsing is itself notable. Update: Used two positive reviews and two negative reviews, all from major sources — tried to choose representative and well-written critiques for both sides and keep the length somewhat balanced. Lawikitejana 04:23, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Novel?

[edit]

This is a non-fiction work, yet it is labeled as a "novel" in the sidebar. Does "novel" mean something other than the obvious in the context of "Media Type", the category in the sidebar under which this book is classified as a novel? LeoO3 20:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
