Turning the Thing Around Date?

[edit]

I have an NFL Films highlight film of Super Bowl XXVII and Steve Sabol introduced it by mentioning that Johnson (doubling as a guest narrator) had devoted an entire chapter to his Cowboys trouncing of Buffalo, which would make the book's release sometime around '93. Maybe it was an updated edition, never mind. WAVY 10 Fan 15:29, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NFL and NCAA championship

[edit]

On this page it says only him and Switzer have done it, but on Switzer's page it lists Johnson and Paul Brown as two others who have done it. I don't know the answer to which is correct.

survivor

[edit]

appear as a participant in the latest survivor series

Yes, he does, and the inclusion of his final words in the entry - which I strongly approve of - has given me an idea: What if we add every Survivor contestant's Final Words to their article, if they have one? I think it would be a good addition, as it is information directly relevant to the person concerning the show. Simplebutpowerful 19:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correct birthdate is July 16, 1943

[edit]

My source is the 1989 Dallas Cowboys media guide. I would be happy to scan and email a copy of the relevant pages from the media guide to any admin who needs proof. I don't know if I'm allowed to leave my email address so I won't post it -- I assume admins can reach me via my wiki account

Disambiguation with Jim Johnson of the Eagles

[edit]

Although he was never a head coach, he was probably the best Defensive Coordinator ever, and only because of the love of his job was he never a head coach. He had the offers. He deserves a mention, as someone could search the name and football looking for him, and end up here.24.160.73.155 (talk) 02:26, 11 May 2015 (UTC) Marianne Ferris[reply]
