Can we just NOT include categories of sex offenders referencing orientation, especially if not explicitly listed on the pages? Pardon my choice of words, but I hope you get my point. Crime is no orientation, as much as orientation is never crime! Rape isn't even sex, and people are still too lewd or too understandably scared to protect themselves by affirming that. There's got to be better organization of sex crimes based on victims and patterns of offenders, like "convicted of same-sex offenses" or expending categories of "incidents of violence against [fill in gender and/or age here]" or something. I speak as an ace, pre-op trans woman who's a sitting duck in a world too sexually frustrated and loving to pity sexual disinterests like the harassment "is a big, friendly game", sex crimes should in no way be the can opener for the can of worms that is orientation panics, be it the risk of encouraging hate crimes or frankly throwing orientation to the wind straight or queer in favor of rape culture! There are STILL crimes today being confused for orientations and the best of queer culture and allied communities, let's start by doing something about Norman's page to clarify he's not gay, he's a pedophile and sex trafficking ring operator, but wanting boys and men to scar. That if anything is yet another attack on gender and orientation identity, why not specify accordingly the site's criteria and organization needing to change.
