Adopted?

They showed both his parent on TV, and they are white. John is black. Do sources say they are his biological parents, or might he be adopted? Tad Lincoln (talk) 02:48, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well Orozco is a hispanic name. I believe he is African-American adopted by Puerto Rican parents. A quote from Sports Illustrated "The normally calm and controlled Orozco looked into the stands and found his parents, William and Damaris, who raised the African-American son in the sometimes unfriendly New York borough of the Bronx." Note that they refered to him as African-American and not Latino hmmn...--Anen87 (talk) 05:35, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Needs updating

The article is currently outdated. Could benefit from more updated info, such as his selection for the 2016 Olympic team, and his subsequent injury which prevented him from competing in those games. SecretName101 (talk) 23:41, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
