An editor previously modified the lead paragraph so that it says the incident was a response for an "alleged" Israeli attack on a Syrian airport, but goes on to say "where Iran funds multiple fundamentalist militias to expand its ability to strike Israel and support Bashar Al-Assad. [citation needed]. At least he/she could have said Iran ALLEGEDLY funds? It appears to me someone is overreaching to advance a unilateral narrative.

Incident is vague; should it be changed to attack? Likewise for May 2019 Gulf of Oman incident, June 2019 Gulf of Oman incident & August 2021 Gulf of Oman incident? Jim Michael (talk) 16:32, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
