Rename article?
[edit]Should this be moved to Toyotomi Nene? Nik42 05:44, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Difficult question. The Japanese Wikipedia article is at 高台院 (Kōdai-in), her final name (if I recall correctly). I don't know what name she's most commonly known by in English. "Toyotomi Nene" doesn't ring true, although it might be ok. There's also Kita no Mandokoro, a title rather than a name, quite common. Fg2 07:56, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Letter from Nobunaga
[edit]Five or six paragraphs down, this sentence appears: "In the aforementioned letter from Oda Nobunaga to Nene that was quoted above." But there is no such quote above. I gather this article is a summary or part of the Japanese wiki article. Can someone add some more material about the Oda-Nene letter? E.g., when it was written, why, etc. Shirokuma1 (talk) 05:10, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing this out. I've rewritten the sentence to avoid referring to a previous mention of the letter. If anyone has the information you requested, it would be interesting to add to the article. Fg2 (talk) 05:38, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
