Origin[edit]

It says a German-Hungarian father. The spelling of his surname appears Hungarian but is his father an ethnic German from Hungary? Or ethnic Hungarian from Germany? Evlekis (talk) 17:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

German-Hungarian would usually mean German of Hungarian descent. In the USA they tend to put the ancestry first (eg African-American, Italian-American) but most countries do it the other way around. If anybody knows Kevin's father's exact background (what ages he lived in Germany, for example) it would be good to add it.--MartinUK (talk) 11:15, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fathers family is from Hungary, but has both ethnic Hungarian and German-Hungarian (ethnic German minority in Hungary) background (the name Kuranyi is Hungarian) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.43.149.150 (talk) 13:10, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
