GAN review

[edit]

The review is on hold as these need fixing:

  • A) "Having entered the study in 1992" - I'm not sure what this means
  • B) "national student union 1994–1994" - is this a typo?
  • C) "even though a certain wolf had mistakenly been shot" - which wolf?
  • D) "his mother a consultant" - what kind of consultant?
  • E) "Admittedly, he had a lack of experience on the national political level, as well as with environmental issues." - Who admits? Is there a source?
  • F) "According to two authors, these parodies constituted mobbing" - authors of what?
  • G) "Hareide was active in the Youth of the Christian People's Party, being a member of the national board 1999–2001 before joining the national board of the Christian Democratic Party." - citation needed
  • H) "On the local level he was a member of Bømlo municipality council from 1991 to 1995." - citation needed
  • I) The lead doesn't summarise the article. Perhaps move the first paragraph of the Reception and issues section to the lead.

Let me know when these are fixed or if you disagree with anything. Epbr123 (talk) 20:05, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for reviewing.

  • A) rewritten
  • B) yes, typo. Fixed.
  • C) tried to clarify.
  • D) it's from the Stortinget.no (parliament) bio, it says his mother was a førstekonsulent. Which translates to "first consultant", "head consultant" or something. It doesn't say where she was a consultant..
  • E) it's pretty self-evident when looking at his background, no experience in environmental work and very little experience in national politics. But yes, the sentence as it stands begged for a {{who}} tag, or removal. I just chose the latter.
  • F) tried to rewrite
  • G) it's from the reference "Stortinget.no biography". That reference provides the backbone of the article, so I don't feel like singling out and citing every instance in which it was used. Is that ok, or?
  • H) same as G)
  • I) good idea. Will do.
