Could someone who speaks Irish translate the title?

It's all very fine and well that Ireland has such a post, but it's rather frustrating that there's no indication what "Laureate na nÓg" actually, literally means. Lockesdonkey (talk) 19:05, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Laureate na nÓg means "Laureate of Youth" by comparison with "Tír na nÓg" which is "Land of Youth". But please check to make sure that is correct, I'm not a fluent speaker of Gaelic. Brilantastelo (talk) 21:56, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is correct, though it is being referred to in English as "Children's Laureate".Botta Perbus (talk) 12:24, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
