Fair use rationale for Image:Sceptical circles.png[edit]

Image:Sceptical circles.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Songs from a Dying British Empire[edit]

I have deleted this entry in the discography.

There is no album called that - it was a US re-issue of the album "That's Not The Way It's Got To Be", but this was merely a sub-title printed on the cover. The US album was in fact also called "That's Not The Way It's Got To Be", so no seperate entry needed. MegdalePlace (talk) 17:48, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Picture - great result! (Not)[edit]

Someone (I think it was HenriP) went to the trouble of getting Leon to provide a public domain picture of himself for the article. Now it's been deleted. Great result! Is it a wonder people give up trying to improve Wikipedia. Bluewave (talk) 20:08, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I assume it's because it wasn't authorised in the "correct" manner. The picture policy on here gets daft sometimes in my opinion. There is a way you can declare fair use for record covers - don't know how - but if someone can do that, we should be able to get a picture up that way. [Further grumpy post from Bluewave coming up] Prior to the public domain image provided by LR himself, I had used a picture from the cover of my own copy of "Songs for Sceptical Circles" but owing to the picture policy, that was unacceptable because the album cover can only be used to illustrate the album, not the artist. Vote For Us[edit]

I came across the above mentioned Rosselson LP on a couple of discographies, and so added it in. I then removed it. I've never heard of it, but it was reported in Billboard mag in 1964, as by Leon and Stephen Sedley. Released on the Transatlantic label. Discog[edit]

I've made a couple of tweaks to the discography. One of them is the deletion of the LP Down By The Liffeyside.
