Copyvio?

[edit]

This is a pretty good article. Needs wikifying, but not much more. However, it seems to be at least partly copied from www.badmanfrombodie.com (unless the copying went the other way). It's possible that the editor who posted this is the actual author of the book listed as the source, which I think is OK, but he may have to say so, so we know that there is no copyright violation. I'm hoping for a reply here from somebody who knows.--Hjal 06:18, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

POV

[edit]

I added the tag because the article had strong bias. Eg; "he was evil to the core"

On a side not, some paragraphs read like a narrative or recount. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vitumnus (talkcontribs) 07:31, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The article was deleted as uncleanable on July 2, 2008. Extensively copyright violations from the stated source were liberally sprinkled throughout the article, and it seems almost certain that more (if not all) of the remaining text was transcribed from the cited book. (Furthermore, the article was hopelessly unencyclopedic and almost certainly added to promote the self-published book.) The foundation of the new stub article was this contribution:

  • 07:15, 12 July 2007 . . Hjal (Talk | contribs | block) (10,307 bytes)

Notice of authorship has been placed in edit summary and here on this talk page to ensure that User:Hjal receives proper credit for his work, which is not only proper, but necessary, according to the terms of GFDL. :) I hope that interested editors can expand on this article to create something workable that does comply. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:40, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
