List of surival horror video games
[edit]Anyone else think there should be a separate list of SURVIVAL horror video games? Seeing as there is a GA article for the survival horror genre, I feel a list should be made. It shouldn't be too difficult to build. This list is not adequate since it has too much gray area with any other genre with horror elements.TarkusAB 02:43, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

There does not appear to be an easy way to examine all the games on this list by year of release. If you'd like to directly investigate activity in the genre across a narrow band of time here on this page, you are pretty much out of luck. For example, if you determined that the years 1995-1997 represent a sort of zenith for the particular style of horror game that interests you, and you want to survey that period, you'd have to spend most of your time jumping around. I will attempt to change that. Spellbinding Nitwit (talk) 20:14, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Ordering by year then alphabetically
[edit]A to Z in this context makes no sense. Why wouldn't it be broken by decade/year, then be alphabetical? I'd prefer to look at games from 2022, rather than "starting with H" Brinlong (talk) 16:25, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
Missing horrorgames from the list
[edit]A few additions to the page: Altered beast ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altered_Beast ), Werewolf (A nasty Commodore 64 game), Nightbreed ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clive_Barker%27s_Nightbreed:_The_Interactive_Movie ), Bram Stoker's Dracula ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bram_Stoker%27s_Dracula_(video_game) ). More sources
[edit]Sources that might be useful:
- HG101 Digest Vol. 3: The Guide to Retro Horror, costs $3.99 for a PDF. I might grab it, but the games listed look boring. It sounds like it might be tedious to read.
Well, that's just one so far. In my defense, I needed somewhere to stick this link. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:31, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
