BNP interest?

[edit]

Why does the BNP have so much interest in the town of Barking and Dagenham? It seems to be their most valuable council, but i fail to understand their strong interests. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/election-2010/7580265/General-Election-2010-One-dark-day-with-the-BNP-in-Dagenham.html Pass a Method talk 08:32, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Transport

[edit]

I am unclear as to the usefulness of this section in an article about the borough. It would make more sense to list the railway and Underground stations that serve the borough, but the borough itself is not really a destination. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.7.53.2 (talk) 12:51, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How do I add a link fron the infobox to Coat of arms of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham? Arms Jones (talk) 01:07, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why does it need a separate article? Fram (talk) 10:08, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You don't have to answer the question if you have no answer to give. A question of the kind you have should be placed elsewhere. Arms Jones (talk) 14:08, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If it doesn't need its own article, there is no need to link it from the infobox. The article current has two private websites as sources, that's it. It is not a subject which is notable enough for a standalone article, never mind a link from the infobox. Fram (talk) 14:22, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reference 2 unrelated to explanation in article

[edit]

"“Happiness in Business: How being happy affects business success" Archived 8 December 2015 at the Wayback Machine, Company Check, 26 August 2015"

The above reference (listed second on the page) is used in the opening paragraph to support a claim that the borough was a host of the 2012 Olympics. The article for the London 2012 Olympics (or the article for venues of the 2012 Olympics) makes no mention of Barking and Dagenham being involved in hosting whatsoever.

Furthermore, the reference seems to be completely irrelevant to the subject matter as it shows a measure of happiness relative to business success and does not make any mention of 2012 Olympics venues --- QUOTE "Barking and Dagenham was one of six London boroughs to host the 2012 Summer Olympics."

Can someone confirm if this reference and/or statement should be removed because it is unsuitable and unfit for the article? 213.105.92.148 (talk) 15:56, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Get rid of it i reckon. BenDavis72 (talk) 12:00, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
