Create biographies about Bangladeshi players from the task force redlink list
Check the listing of key bios at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/Key biographies and improve these to at least B-class.
Create batting/bowling graphs for cricketers who have excelled in international cricket.

Name

The subject of this article has been reported in the New Zealand press many times as M. J. Dind, but no given names have been found. Doug butler (talk) 03:15, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Changed article title to M. Dind, which in incontrovertible and matches cricinfo. Several PapersPast hits for M. H. Dind but only one in connection with the Wellington first-class side, by one newspaper as batting for Wellington against Canterbury in January 1920,^[1] however another newspaper called the same player "M. J. Dind".^[2] There was an M. H. Dind playing for Wellington lower grades and for a "friendly", Defence Department v. Government House, in which Dind (for the Department) retired on 65.^[3] Lord Jellicoe scored 19 N.O. for his team. Doug butler (talk) 23:57, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is likely that M. H. Dind is Melbourne Hall Dind, born 6 January 1878 in Sydney, son of William Forster Dind (1836 or 1837 – 9 April 1907) and grandson of William Dind (c. 1813 – 23 January 1895), the latter two being owners and licencees of Dind's Hotel, Milson's Point, Sydney, where Luna Park is now, alongside the Harbour Bridge. M. J. Dind could be his younger brother, but nothing to confirm or refute has been found. Doug butler (talk) 00:22, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
