400 meter world record holder
[edit]Why is there no "box" at the bottom of the page, listing Marita Koch as the 400 meter world recordholder?Ryoung122 16:26, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
Allyson Felix
[edit]"In recent times perhaps the only woman sprinter to have demonstrated enough speed and speed endurance to come close to possibly challenging Koch's 47.60 sec record run is Allyson Felix. Felix clocked 47.8 secs in the 4 × 400 m relay leg at the London Olympics 2012."
Deleted for being incredibly misleading, since relays have running start. Felix's personal best on 400m is 49.26s.

The article says, "After the fall of the Iron Curtain the GDR never came close the dominating the sport again." - Well, what would you expect since the GDR came to an end at that very time?87.139.77.188 (talk) 10:40, 3 July 2008 (UTC)ldnwds |
