I question the description of Mrs Eaton-Gilden as a psychologist. My understanding is that, as per the APA, you have to have a doctorate to be a licensed psychologist in the US, unless New York State has a separate standard. By contrast, "counselor" and "psychotherapist" are general terms that aren't regulated by any professional organization. Some states refer to someone who has a master's in psychology but not doctorate as a "psychological associate." Does she have a doctorate?versen 03:16, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meredith holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and attended Adelphi Derner Institute's Doctoral Program for a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is registered in their Doctoral Program in September 1999. Whether she obtained her doctorate I do not know. I do know she holds a Masters and is licensed to practice in the state of California. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.87.156.132 (talk) 21:59, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SVU guest role?

[edit]

Wasn't she in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit? "Inconceivable," if I remember right. 24.248.207.54 (talk) 20:58, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
