"Dungina"

[edit]

Hey, I think it's a funny nickname, I really do, but it's not quite appropriate for an encyclopedia! Not that Dun doesn't deserve it, but we have to keep it neutral around here. Davis21Wylie 19:17, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Texas?

[edit]

Everything this article says insinuates he's from Oregon. Why is he listed as from Texas? --Erroneuz1 (talk) 21:09, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There appear to be conflicting sources on his birthplace. CPS Sports and basketball-reference.com state that he was born in Fort Worth, ([1], [2]), but Yahoo! Sports and ESPN cite his birthplace as Lake Oswego. ([3], [4]). Bash Kash (talk) 22:01, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm removing all references to his place of birth (including categories) until we get this fixed out (per WP:BLP). Bash Kash (talk) 22:24, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He was born in Ft. Worth, but grew up and graduated high school in Lake Oswego. The Duke Blue Devils Basketball Statistical Database, the official site developed and maintained by the Duke athletic department, confirms this fact. -Bluedog423Talk 00:23, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, thanks a lot. I've added the source to the article. Bash Kash (talk) 05:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Harsh

[edit]

Anyone else think the article is a little harsh? Lots of players picked 3rd in the draft never make the all-star game. It's true that Dunleavy has been on the verge of being more valuable than he is for a long time, but the article as is comes across as too critical.--88.227.200.19 (talk) 09:45, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On Court Demeanor

[edit]

Hey, I think Dunleavy's controversial on court demeanor is worth noting, he's a notably dirty player and has recently implied the intentionally injured Kevin Love. He also drew notable attention for being unnecessarily physical with Michael Carter-Williams, which ended with Giannis Antetokounmpo tackling him. Here's an article talking about it, not sure if it's cite-worthy. 96.60.204.88 (talk) 02:00, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
