  • The article is long enough and new enough with no copyright violations. A QPQ has been completed. However, I don't think either hook is interesting. He knew notable people, but so have a lot of other people (whether notable or non-notable). It seems like there should be a more interesting hook due to his career. • @SL93:, thanks for the review. Appreciate it. Re: the interestingness, ALT1 was specifically drawing attention to his reforms at Mitsubishi that focused on portfolio returns and his friendship with someone who would go on to become a marquee activist shareholder is directly relevant / interesting. I had included ALT0 because that might help make the connect to a non-business audience. But, that said, if you think there is something else more interesting in the biography, I am happy to change as well. Not wedded to either of my proposed hooks. Cheers. • My fear is that this one is too sensationalistic. Tried a rewording below, see if this might work better.
ALT2.1 ... that Japanese business executive Minoru Makihara, who was credited with the turnaround of Mitsubishi Corporation, had to convince employees and press of his Japanese credentials before embarking on organizational reforms? Ktin (talk) 03:00, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Happy to make any additional edits. Cheers. Ktin (talk) 03:00, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
