Nick Wilson (Survivor contestant)Nick Wilson (politician) – This article was created when he was only notable for being on Survivor. Now, he is notable as a state legislator. The "Survivor" section is long and needs to be trimmed of WP:UNDUE content. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:31, 17 January 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. ModernDayTrilobite (talkcontribs) 15:47, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. The parenthetical qualifier specifying that subject is an elected official would be now more intuitive indeed. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 20:10, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose: He seems much more notable to the general public as a Survivor contestant, regardless of what he has done since then. He not only appeared on the TV show, he was the winner of the season, and then he appeared again on another season of the series, again finishing in the top 10. And being a member of the Kentucky state House of Representatives is not a very major political position. Few people outside of a 50-mile radius would be familiar with his political role, but tens of millions of people watched those Survivor episodes. Wikipedia cares primarily about what is most notable to readers, not what the subjects of its articles are currently doing. His political career seems rather unremarkable – the article mentions only that he was elected to the office unopposed and describes how he voted on one issue. It does not say he was part of any leadership of anything political. — BarrelProof (talk) 21:04, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move. He's far more notable for winning Survivor. O.N.R. (talk) 23:17, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per above. Appearing on and winning Survivor is more notable than being a state legislator. — Mad Mismagius (talk) 06:06, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
