[edit]I created the article Nicolas (wine retailer) not realising that Nicolas (wine stores) already existed (there was no link from Nicolas). I think Nicolas (wine stores) should be merged into Nicolas (wine retailer), my rationale being as follows:
- Under Wikipedia convention, article titles are singular - "wine retailer" is singular whereas "wine stores" is plural - hence Nicolas (wine retailer) would be my preferred title
- "Stores" is primarily US English, retailer is non-specific, and the article should cover Nicolas' entire operation, not just the physical stores - so again, Nicolas (wine retailer) would be my preferred title
- The Nicolas (wine retailer) article includes more encyclopedic details (history, and international reach), albeit briefly, so it make sense to use this as the foundation article. However, the image at Nicolas (wine stores) needs to be included in the final article for sure.
