Muscovy

[edit]

Wasn't Muscovy a participant in that conflict? I found some tidbits of information about the gains of Sweden, Poland and Muscovy in this war, added them to the Treaty of Stettin article - it would be good if they were reviewed. Also, this may benefit from merger or expantion with material from Livonian War. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 00:12, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Another article

[edit]

Just found "Northern Seven Years War," wondered why it was so bad, then found this article. If there's any unique/useful information it should be merged and redirected, if not it should be simply replaced with a redirect.

Here is the text from that article. The only contributor were anonymous.

Some corrections

[edit]

I have made the navial battles and exploits of Klas Horn a little bit less biased and more accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.82.169.61 (talk) 01:37, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Short review

[edit]

The article was rated as B-class. It is actually far from it. Allow me to elaborate:

  • B1. It is suitably referenced, and all major points have appropriate inline citations. The article flamboyantly fails this criterion, with only five instances of inline citations. This alone degrades the article from B-class.
  • B2. It reasonably covers the topic, and does not contain obvious omissions or inaccuracies. It is unfortunately inaccurate in that it's confusing to read, especially in references of chronology. Time is hard to keep track of here. For instance, dates often lack year.
  • B3. It has a defined structure, including a lead section and one or more sections of content. The structure is not well defined, with the chronology being confusing. It has a lead, but it's short as well as unclear: "many men died".
  • B4. It is free from major grammatical errors. Free from major ones, I guess, but it'd benefit from a thorough copyedit. The English language is Scandinavian-influenced at times and could flow better.
  • B5. It contains appropriate supporting materials, such as an infobox, images, or diagrams. OK.
