Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Coordinate error[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for

23.462419, 90.263078

Nmurali46 (talk) 20:38, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Thanks for pointing out the error. Deor (talk) 15:18, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The name[edit]

@ZenCavanaugh: It is true that its official name is Padma Multipurpose Bridge. But its common name is Padma Bridge and all media and people refer it to only Padma Bridge. So I think "Padma Bridge" should be its name. Mehedi Abedin 14:16, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@El C: The name of the page you protected was changed without discussion. Also I think the name change was unnecessary. Mehedi Abedin 14:40, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Image in the header[edit]

@Mehediabedin: removed my edit on a new photo for the header. I don't understand why this should be so contentious or controversial. The current image was uploaded on 18 November 2021 when the bridge was under construction. The look of the bridge has changed because the bridge has now opened. There are now streetlights on the bridge, which is absent in the current photo. My proposed replacements are either this or this. Solomon The Magnifico (talk) 12:38, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Solomon The Magnifico: I prefer the second photo. Mehedi Abedin 22:29, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Solomon The Magnifico: I choosed a option from your photos to resolve conflict but looks like @AMomen88: doesn’t want to accept that photo because the photo was captured at night and the photo is darker. That's why I am choosing File:Padma Bridge Day Before Inauguration ceremony (cropped 2).jpg this photo. The photo is taken one day before inauguration (which was the opposite of the concern of Solomon, but still better) and the photo wasn’t' taken at night (which was the concern of Momen). I couldn’t find better photo. So I think that we should keep this picture. AMomen88, if you don't find better photo than this that cover the two conditions and resolve your conflict then I discourage you to revert or change its photo in the infobox of the article. What's the source for the "Components of the project"[edit]

The components of the project have been listed in a very detailed manner but no source has been provided. Is there any source for it? AyazKader (talk) 13:28, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so. Probably someone from the government wrote these things. Unless we can find sources for the part it should be removed from the article. Mehedi Abedin (talk) 00:13, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
