Added a bit more detail on the Pitesti experiment and an external link (which should probably be formatted better). For flow reasons, I'd probably want the festival info ahead of the heavy history but when I tried to swap sections, the result was not aesthetic.

Crest

[edit]

There seems to be some confusion about the crests. The one displayed for the city is actually the one for the county, and the actual one can be found here (I can confirm that this is the case, since the Town Hall in the city, unlike its site, uses the small one with the falcon holding the flag. The first link also notes that the crest we use for the county (in the template, for one), is actually used by the County Council (don't know why they need a separate one, but they apparently feel it has a point...). Cease fire

[edit]

I have now fully protected this page to prevent all editing for the next few days. I'm dismayed that none of the participants in this little edit war seem to have tried discussing things here, instead sniping at one another in edit summaries. The only exemption to the edit warring policy is reverting blatant vandalism. All of you would do well to keep that in mind when the protection expires. Follow WP:BRD. Pursue dispute resolution if needed, but remember, edit warring is always the wrong move. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:17, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I want to point out that the IP, as he admitted in his edit summary, was blindly reverting: he wasn't even looking into what was on the page to see that his edit had been incorporated, and, by way of consequence, that is simple (if weird) vandalism. In fact, it is also harassment, if he's reverting certain users just because he sees their names on the page. Dahn (talk) 19:27, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's because at first, the other mod. reverted my change with no reason (Biruitorul reverted my photo swap, for which I had a reason, and said 'this again?'). And I assumed he was reverting my change over and over just because he didn't agree with it, based on his (rather unprofessional, I'd add) answer. It's a simple case of lack of communication.
