Who is "Moore"?
[edit]Section provenance: "Little is known of the original after that. Only hours after Cromwell was taken to Traitors' Gate on 1 June 1540, soldiers arrived at his house to remove his belongings to the treasury, a fate that later fell upon Moore." - Who is this Moore? Can't be Thomas More, as he was executed many years earlier. --94.223.135.34 (talk) 20:44, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Indeed, on 6 July 1535, in fact. The spelling error doesn't help. Suggest rewording to a fate that had befallen More some five years earlier. The comparison with [Portrait of Sir Thomas More might be worth preserving. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:00, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

Unclear description
[edit]Is the Portrait of the Thomas Cromwell in the upper right hand corner of the article -- the one in the London gallery -- is that a reproduction by someone else or an original painting by Holbein? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.163.124.210 (talk) 14:08, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
