Fair use rationale for Image:Rad mobile.jpg

[edit]

Image:Rad mobile.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

  • Beep 1991/4 Page 123 and 130
    • Per this source, I would give credit to Hisao Oguchi and Sega AM3 per page 123. In an interview with Oguchi, he is credited as head of Sega AM3 (第三AM究開発部 小口久雄部長). And although the interview is primarily about Super Monaco GP, towards the end of the interview he says: "最近、32ビットのチップを搭載し、新しいポードを使った、「ラッドモビール」というゲームを作ったんですが、" which means "Recently we made a new game called Rad Mobile which uses a 32 bit chip and a new pod."
  • MegaDrive Fan 1991/4 Page 112-113
  • MegaDrive FAn 1991/5 Page 129
  • Beep 1991/5 Page 124-125, 127

@TarkusAB: That's awesome. I'll throw that one in; unfortunately I can't read Japanese so I can't help parse the rest. While I have you here, do you think you could provide Hepburn transliterations of the two Japanese titles in the footnotes? It's a little thing that would be helpful. I'll review it. TarkusABtalk 20:32, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Since we have two scores (Sinclair and Beep), maybe put them in a reception score box?
  • Just want to make sure, Takashi Yuda is being credited for design on Gale Racer. Are we talking game design or graphic design? Usually the Japanese mean art when they say design, while English sources mean game design when they say it.
  • You should write out "Computer and Video Games"
  • "Horowitz noting that based" Noting should not be used here, use another word like "believing" or "feeling" because it's an opinion.
  • Did you check page 71 in Raze #7? There is some small coverage there if it's of any use. [1]
@Red Phoenix: Pass but remove the scores from prose now that they're in an infobox. TarkusABtalk 17:10, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
