Rvsingh12, the reliable and independent sources cover details about a subject and we summarise those details on this project keeping WP:DUE in mind. We are not supposed to WP:Synthesis or do WP:Original Research from sources which don't even mention the article's subject. But that's what you have been doing in this article. So please don't do this again. On a side note, the Times of India is generally considered unreliable on this project – see WP:TOI. Such sources aren't used in WP:BLPs other than for the subject's interviews.
If you still have a doubt, discuss it here rather than causing WP:BLP violations by synthesis of the sources that don't even mention the article's subject. - NitinMlk (talk) 13:24, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not original research or synthesis, as it does not imply or put a spin on anything about the subject. It merely names notable members of her maternal family and her direct connection. Which is notable info on her background Rvsingh12 (talk) 13:53, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On the TOI angle, haven't used the source for any major info or article on the subject so the bias associated with it is not there. Again it is merely to reference that her mother is from where and her pre married name. Rvsingh12 (talk) 13:55, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rvsingh12, notable and relevant content is decided by the reliable sources that cover details about the subject. We cannot decide by ourselves what is notable for the subject, let alone synthesise information like this. Please again carefully read my above comment as well as WP:Synthesis.
Regarding TOI, that was a general comment. Those sources aren't relevant here, as they don't even mention this article's subject anywhere. - NitinMlk (talk) 14:06, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have. From what I understand, wouldn't synthesising be me implying or coming to an original conclusion about her notability ? Which I have not. I have mentioned her mother, details of her and stated her maternal family. No POV or spin, just a fact. Rvsingh12 (talk) 14:13, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I nowhere mentioned "her notability". I mentioned undue details and synthesis by you. You are deciding by yourself details about her that no reliable source covered in her regard, which is not allowed – see WP:SYN and WP:UNDUE. If there are sources about her that discuss her mother's family, we can cover those details. Otherwise, that is undue here. NitinMlk (talk) 14:25, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A couple of lines, which are facts, does not lend undue weight to anything as there is no POV angle to it. With the synthesis angle, I have not "combined synthesis of published material to imply a new conclusion". I do not imply anything because there is literally nothing to imply. It just a fact about her mother and her background. Rvsingh12 (talk) 14:56, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Either you have WP:CIR issues or you don't want to hear it. Please again read my previous comments. The due and undue details are decided by reliable sources that have covered details about her. You cannot decide that by yourself. That's it. - NitinMlk (talk) 15:09, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You misunderstand. I am not at all incompetent and always open minded. My questions/replies to you are not are not me arguing.
They are merely me trying to get a better understanding of things. I have seen and read many of the editing regulations and guidelines. But they are rather detailed, long and broad. Since you seem to have a better grasp than I do, I was merely trying to succinctly discuss things and any wrong practices or breaches/issues if there were any. I apologize if it came across argumentative, I am a bit direct.
Her full name has been mentioned as "Ria Rajeshwari Kumari" in reliable sources going back to at least 2012, e.g. see here. But it was changed to "Rajeshwari Ria Kumari" on 10 May 2022 with this edit by Rvsingh12, although that was not supported by any reference. So watch out for WP:MIRRORS produced by Indian news media between 10 May 2022 and 31 July 2024. - NitinMlk (talk) 13:28, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The swap between the first and middle name or vice versa in this article does not really make a difference as sources depict her with both contexts. Rvsingh12 (talk) 13:50, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rvsingh12, you cannot "swap between the first and middle name" of people unless there are reliable sources for that. I don't think there was any source which mentioned the subject's name as "Rajeshwari Ria Kumari" when you made that change. Please again see WP:OR. You need to understand the policies of this project before editing articles here. - NitinMlk (talk) 14:13, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
