comparable to Eagle scout[edit]

It seems the Fuji award is the highest in the venture scout section, which is for 14-19 year olds. The Kiku award is the highest in the scout section, which is for 11-14 year olds. Now if you compare to the Boy Scouts of America, Eagle scout is the highest in the boy scout section, which is for 11-17 year olds. Their venture scout section is for 14-21 (and there is also a varsity scouting section). These later sections have their own awards. So I wonder if Eagle scout is really more comparable to Kiku award. In any case, it seems a vague comparison and problematic because of the differences between the associations. --C S (talk) 07:01, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ＢＳ部門・ＶＳ部門進級課程の改定について

予てよりお伝えしておりましたBS部門・VS部門の進級課程に関して、本日、日本連盟ホームページに掲載いたしました。

●新たな進級課程が平成２９年９月１日から施行となります。活動的で自立したスカウトを育てるため、日々のスカウト活動が行われておりますが、スカウト活動の一貫性、累進制を鑑み、進歩の継続性を重視したものとするため、現行のボーイスカウト部門とベンチャースカウト部門の進級課程を一本化とした新たな進級課程へと改定いたします。

公示：平成２８年１１月１日施行：平成２９年　９月１日

●一貫性を持たせた６段階の進級課程各進級はそれぞれ、初級・２級・１級・菊・隼・富士の６段階とし、全ての進級章を取得して到達点である富士スカウト章を目指す制度といたします。各進級課目は必修課目を中心とした内容としたこと、各級に「進歩の目標」を設定したことにより、その級の目標となる技能、知識を確実に修得し、次の進級を目指します。　進級記章もデザインを一新し、ボーイスカウト部門からベンチャースカウト部門までを統一したデザインとなります。また、ベンチャー隊の最初の進級課目である「ベンチャー章」は廃止とし、「菊スカウト章」着用後は「隼スカウト章」そして到達点である「富士スカウト章」を目指すこととなります。

必修課目と選択課目のリニューアルや各隊における移行の準備のお願い、新進級各章の進級細目等もホームページに掲載しておりますので、ぜひご一読ください。
