Awards and Recognition

[edit]

This section is mostly cash prize from various groups, not an established awards. Does it make sense to have the bulleted section or just a summary line? Coderzombie (talk) 18:54, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Coderzombie: In my view, these cash prizes aren't worth listing. That's because, in India, most of the time, they are given by political/private organisations to show themselves in a good light. And that's why for each significant medal of a sportsperson, there are dozens of such cash prizes. In any case, their addition doesn't seem to be of encyclopedic value. So, all these cash awards should be deleted as per WP:INDISCRIMINATE. - NitinMlk (talk) 19:36, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: Please make your request for a new image to be uploaded to Files For Upload.
Once the file has been properly uploaded, please reactivate this request, (by changing answered=y to answered-no in the top line) and link to the image you want added.
Please note that the picture must not be copyright, which excludes almost all images that you find on the internet, in magazines etc., and you will need proof that it is not copyright, just saying it is not copyright is not acceptable. - Arjayay (talk) 09:46, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change - Move?

[edit]

As Sakshi Malik has changed her name to Sakshee Malikkh (not sure if this is an official change or change in terms of writing the name for purposes of numerology),[1] I am wondering if the page should be moved to that title - thought it best to initiate a discussion here. Do let me know your views. Meanwhile, I would be creating a redirect from that name to Sakshi Malik.
