Should the notability tag be removed[edit]

Should the notability tag be removed? Recent editing on this article includes a redirect [1], which I reverted, then a note that it was reviewed about three hours later, by @SwisterTwister: (not sure how to reference that). The notability tag was added a minute later by the redirecting editor. [2]

Should the fact that it was reviewed be construed as an endorsement of its notability? The topic seems on the borderline according to the guidelines. The relevant bit is "has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, [...]" The only source in the article establishes a notable role in one production. But is "multiple" satisfied by the rest of her filmography? There are eleven (11) movie credits and thirty-three (33) television credits. Most of the productions seem to be significant in themselves, but I'm prepared to assume that all the roles are insignificant bit parts. Thoughts? Willondon (talk) 03:48, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly she still seems questionable and seems best known for her best known work, 7 episodes of Supernatural thus I'm not sure if she's solidly notable. SwisterTwister talk 03:51, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth from Google search[edit]

I have removed a date of birth and its associated note, "Googling results-Samantha Smith actress born". That search does result in a date above the results, but no source is indicated for the date shown.

A Google search in itself is not a valid source for citing anything in a Wikipedia article. Most searches on Google result in dozens (or more) of results. (Searching with the wording above resulted in "About 6,200,000 results".) A valid citation requires attribution to a specific source -- not the search itself.
