Samurai Aces → Sengoku Ace — Relisted. Ucucha 14:38, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
"Sengoku Ace" is the more official name - the sequels had the sub-titles of "Sengoku Ace Episode II" & III. --Asperchu (talk) 17:32, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Comment the screencaps use English in the text. What is the actual name used for the game in the English market? If it is "Samurai Aces" then the article should not be renamed, since it is only about the first game, not about the series. 70.29.210.242 (talk) 06:00, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
- AFAIK it's Samurai Aces only in one version? --Asperchu (talk) 11:55, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- What do you mean by version. Do you mean that the game was called Senhoku Ace in other other English speaking contries or are you talking refering to the sequals when you use the term version--76.66.190.117 (talk) 04:50, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Adding to this you are mentioning releases in other countries you shoukd know that we prefer English relases so you should use the current name unless another English speaking country uses the other name. Also if this is an argument based on the names of the sequals that would not work either since this is an article about the first (that has an offical english release) and not the series.--76.66.190.117 (talk) 04:55, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose nominator states that the version of the game this article covers is called "Samurai Aces" in English. If the nominator wishes to create a series article at Sengoku Aces or Sengoku Ace, then go ahead, but the current title is the proper title for the first game. 76.66.194.32 (talk) 04:07, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

New move request

The result of the move request was: not moved. Per WP:USEENGLISH, we use the most common name in English sources. If this game were principally known in English as Sengoku Aces, then that would be an appropriate name, but that hasn't been shown. Aervanath (talk) 13:35, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Samurai Aces → Sengoku Ace – Relisted. Lynch7 03:48, 8 March 2012 (UTC) Article seems to indicate this is the correct title. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 17:17, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- comment WP:USEENGLISH -- this game appears to have been released into the English language market as "Samurai Aces". [1][2][3] ; why should we use the Japanese name for a game available in English? 70.24.251.71 (talk) 05:23, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
- comment assuming that Samurai Aces being the English title is correct I see no reason to change this any more than Resident Evil should be moved to Biohazard (video game).--70.24.208.34 (talk) 22:30, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- Question - Where is "Samurai" coming from? The Japanese clearly says Sengoku Ace (戦国エース), so where's the samurai? In ictu oculi (talk) 16:44, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose It was released in Europe as Samurai Aces (see 70.24's links) by 505 Games, so where's the issue? Someoneanother 03:52, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose - Released as Samurai Aces in English-speaking countries. This is en.wiki; it is preferred to use an English title whenever possible. Salvidrim! 19:30, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
