Talk:Sigma Corporation

I have moved this article back to "Sigma Corporation" since that is the name the company itself uses. We don't abbreviate if the company doesn't; doing so regardless is not WP convention. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 09:24, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

DG specification[edit]

According to Sigma's website, the DG denotation is a bit different than what is described here (a coating):

DG (DG Lens)

These are large-aperture lenses with wide angles and short minimum focusing distances. With an abundance of peripheral illumination, they are ideal lenses for Digital SLR Cameras whilst retaining suitability for traditional 35mm SLRs.

Where are the Other Sigma Lenses?[edit]

You have a nice list of current Sigma lens models, but what of the discontinued lenses? That is why I visited in the first place. I was trying to find out more about the Sigma 400mm Prime apo, f5.6 (only) telephoto lens and others, possible treasures to be found on the used market, for my use on Sony dslr equipment.
