Fair use rationale for Image:Destiny's child soldier.jpg
[edit]Image:Destiny's child soldier.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:47, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

- I am concerned about the extensive lyric quotation in the final paragraph. It seems like a potential WP:COPYVIO. I am going to request that you get approval at WP:CP to include this content.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 18:29, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

- @TonyTheTiger: Umm, no. But on a second thought if you agree I'd remove the lines because they do not add anything to the article. - Oddly, I am not seeing this ping above. Something is wrong with my notifications. However, I am watching the page. I am somewhat disappointed in how few year-end charts are listed. How extensively was this researched?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 21:01, 20 August 2014 (UTC)- When I was cleaning up Emily Ratajkowski, I did a lot of work to fill in year-end chart info for the song "Blurred Lines". I would suggest looking for other WP:RS for year-end charts in the other top songs of the year.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 21:09, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- I actually checked all of the year-end charts and the song was placed only in the ones that are present in the article. Many of the charts don't have year-end listings (Hot Dance Club etc.).
