Tetris Effect (video game) → Tetris Effect – While there is a need to distinguish this game from the Tetris effect, per WP:DIFFCAPS, difference in style and capitalization are sufficient to be distinguishing factors, with hatnotes to resolve any further conflict. There is no need to add the disambiguation phrase to this. (This is to avoid getting into a wheel war with User:Woshiyiweizhongguoren on this Masem (t) 18:46, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
I think that making the titles diferent will reduce confusion. Woshiyiweizhongguoren (🇨🇳) 19:02, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
- If there is confusion that is what WP:HATNOTES are for. --Masem (t) 19:20, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
- @Masem: Conversely, are there any specific reasons why you oppose the move, or the separate titles? Woshiyiweizhongguoren (🇨🇳) 10:48, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- Per WP:AT, at WP:CONCISE (right after WP:DIFFCAPS), article titles should be as concise as possible, and thus adding the disambiguation term is inappropriate. Under WP:DAB the section about "Disambiguation pages or hatnotes", it says to use hatnotes to point readers for pages with different style/capitalization. --Masem (t) 13:50, 4 April 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose - readers shouldn't be expected to know Wikipedia's housestyle about capitalization is different than the one found in practically every other site they use. There is nothing to gain by changing this, and only to lose, with the lose of clarity for readers and for anyone trying to understand what a category link is and unintentionally incorrect linking from articles. --Gonnym (talk) 11:17, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- support why do we add the parenthesis subtitle if it means that the capitalization still comes to this article? Is there a reason why the original Tetris Effect phenomenom doesn't have capitalized "E" for effect? if there's a valid reason why, then i support having this article without the "(video game)" attached.Blue Pumpkin Pie (talk) 05:28, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
- Weakly supportOn the one hand, I think people often think of things like medical conditions etc as proper nouns, which might negate diffcaps here. On the other hand, since the capitalization already redirects to the game, no need for the disambig.--Yaksar (let's chat) 01:35, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- Procedural note. The stable title is Tetris Effect. If there is no consensus then the stable title should be reinstated. Dekimasuよ! 21:51, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
