manhunt
[edit]How is this game similar to manhunt? It is not a stealth game and does not have a similar combat system it is really more like max payne if anything.69.220.1.137 (talk) 06:12, 17 June 2008 (UTC) Over the top violence and gore
Soundtrack
[edit]Does anyone have any information on the OST for ths game? - RVDDP2501 17:31, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
What on earth is the first one of the trivias supposed to mean? he was voiced by thomas jane, he was voiced by someone else? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.241.214.74 (talk • contribs)
- Ah, good to see I'm not the only one confused. I've taken it out, given that it is so confusing. For the record, the article had:
- "The Punisher character is voiced by actor Thomas Jane, the same actor who portrayed the title role in the 2004 Punisher film. However, as denoted in early demos and trailers, a different voice actor was attached to voice The Punisher."
- It makes absolutely no sense to me. And it had a {{fact}} tag on it. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 13:18, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Voice Actor
[edit]Through e-mail correspondence with Volition (I don't have the e-mails anymore) it was clearly expressed to me that the original voice heard in trailers and demos was actually the game's sound designer. I know original research isn't supposed to be incorporated in to Wikipedia, but is there a way to agree on putting this in the article? 66.28.71.162 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.28.71.162 (talk) 14:31, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- This is true, if you play a demo or watch the trailer[1] of this game, you can clearly hear that it's not Thomas Jane's voice. Also, he wasn't asked to voice character, he just showed up during the audition and got the part. Unfortunately Youtube is not a reliable source and the only website that reported this info was www.ThePunisher.com and that website has been gone for quite a few years now. It would just come across as original research.108.82.4.229 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 00:58, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Weapons
[edit]Do we REALLY need the weapons section? Lots42 (talk) 20:16, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- It is useful information relevant to the game and should be kept. CycloneNimrod (talk) 15:38, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Leonardo da Vinci quote
[edit]The following was in this article:
- A famous quote by Leonardo da Vinci can be seen in the game’s playback trailer: "He who does not punish evil commands it to be done."
Is this a. really necessary, and b. where is the source to the trailer? - Tbsdy lives (talk) 13:24, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Copyedit badly needed
[edit]A copyedit is badly needed - there are spelling errors galore, and some sentences just don't make grammatical sense. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 13:33, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
