Have not found any reputable source that states this, outside of society columns and Harper's Bazaar ... Does anyone have access to a Jefferson genealogy that would establish the descent of Dale Tatum, Mortimer's mother, from Jefferson? Given the name of her sister, Dabney, I would suggest that they might be descended from Dabney Carr, who married Jefferson's sister.Kitchawan (talk) 21:32, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
