Redirecting from Tristen
[edit]Currently, Tristen redirects to Tristan, the Tristan & Iseult character. Since Tristen Gaspadarek actually goes by Tristen, wouldn't it make more sense for it to lead here? 108.203.20.34 (talk) 18:46, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

Tristen Gaspadarek → Tristen – consistency with other singers who go by their first names – Clarinetguy097 (talk) 17:08, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:34, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Clarinetguy097: There is also a Tristen Walker. And see page Tristan (name). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose: Considering Tristan (name), which lists "Tristen" as a known spelling variation, Tristen should remain a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT (either to Tristan or to Tristan (name)). This performer does not seem so exceptionally notable as to justify WP:PRIMARYTOPIC status. Something like Tristen (performer) or Tristen (singer-songwriter) might be appropriate. —BarrelProof (talk) 23:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per BarrelProof. This person is not WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Tristen. Zarcadia (talk) 06:25, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose insufficient notability for such a page move.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:57, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per BarrelProof. Also, some of those other singers listed only by their first name shouldn't be either. No need to make the problem worse. Egsan Bacon (talk) 15:04, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Strong oppose no evidence given this is the primary topic -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 03:22, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
