Valley Girls (Gossip Girl) → Valley Girls – Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:54, 3 July 2012 (UTC) Unreal7 (talk) 09:57, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
Unnecessary disambiguation. Title already redirects here. Unreal7 (talk) 09:57, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Question: Almost all the references added here mention "Gossip girl" in title! --Tito Dutta ✉ 12:15, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- What's your point? Unreal7 (talk) 14:10, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Comment: Actually, it looks like Valley Girls was merged into Valley Girls (Gossip Girl) in 2010.[1]. Both page histories need to be preserved somehow. IMO, the page merge should have been the other way. The reason why the content was originally split up into two articles was that the there were plans to create a new TV show called Valley Girls, with the Gossip Girl episode was being used as a backdoor pilot. When plans for the new TV show fell through, the pages were merged. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:54, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Proposal Move "Valley Girls" to Valley Girls (TV series), to preserve edit history. 70.49.127.65 (talk) 20:23, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- Update "Valley Girls" edit history is now at Valley Girls (TV series) -- 70.49.127.65 (talk) 06:18, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- Comment "Valley Girls" should redirect to Valley girl (disambiguation). 70.49.127.65 (talk) 20:23, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- Redirect Valley Girls to Valley girl (disambiguation). Vegaswikian (talk) 02:41, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
There is NOTHING else called "Valley Girls". The fact that it's plural should make it impossible to mix it up with anything else. Unreal7 (talk) 01:17, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Support A primary topic (such as Valley Girls) should not redirect to a disambiguated topic (such as Valley Girls (Gossip Girl)). And there are no other uses on the disambiguation page as likely to be referred to as "Valley Girls". Valley girls should probably redirect to Valley girl, though, but that's not part of this proposal. Theoldsparkle (talk) 14:08, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. And redirect Valley Girls to Valley girl. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:12, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- Support to fix the redirect from base name to qualified name; unneeded precision. (The disambiguation page Valley girl (disambiguation) should also be moved to Valley Girl or Valley Girl (disambiguation), since the ambiguous title is the capitalized one.) -- JHunterJ (talk) 02:13, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
