Repaired vandalism

[edit]

Acting on a semiprotection request at WP:RFPP, I reverted the article to a version from May 2017 that seems relatively free of vandalism. I hope that others who have some knowledge can add well-sourced information. The Russian Wikipedia article on Nikiforov is not too bad and might have usable data. There is also a character in an anime series named Victor Nikiforov who is a figure skater. This character is cited in a hatnote. The real Russian Viktor Nikiforov was exclusively a hockey player (not a figure skater) who won a medal in the Winter Olympics in 1956 and ended his playing career before age 30.
