Billy Clarke (footballer, born 1878) → Willie Clarke (footballer) – Almost all contemporaneous sources refer to this footballer as 'Willie Clarke', also a number of books refer to him as 'Willie', his page was originally at Willie Clarke (footballer) which is now a redirect to the current page. The only source I can find using 'Billy Clarke' is a blog which is used as a reference on the page [1], this used to be a cornerstone reference on the page before I recently conducted a significant referencing and improvement to the page, which shows him almost uniformly to be referred to as 'Willie'. As per WP:MOSNICKNAME that should be the main name for this page, taking back the current redirect page. Mountain^cirque 15:23, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
