There’s really no use for this article

[edit]

I really don’t know why this page really exists. I mean, what’s the purpose…? Sure, it was fan-influential, but I whymake a Wikipedia article for this pokemon in particular? What are you planning to do, make articles for ‘em all? I don’t know…I think this is useless as long as Bulbapedia exists.. Inaturlist Lover (talk) 12:18, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Review

[edit]

Hello! I will be reviewing the article. I am honoured to do so, as I’m kind of a Pokémon fan myself (guess my favourite Pokémon if you want to, but I can confirm it is not Wooloo). So far, the significant problem is the MoS violations.

Prose

[edit]
  • A mention of Shigeru Ohmori’s reaction to the critical reception of the Pokémon is not present in the prose, despite being in the lead.
    • It should be there, first paragraph of reception, by his last name.
      • Done!

Sources/Citations

[edit]
  • (Optional) Try adding secondary sources, but I’ll leave them be if such sources are not available. I helped you with one of them.
  • The only concern, the overuse of FN 7 (primary source). It’s used four times on this page.
    • Should be fixed now. Fixed an oversight with a few missing accessdate.
      • Done.

Copy-vios

[edit]
  • Nothing special from Earwig, but I’ll let that 26.5% be.

Images

[edit]
  • So far, so good!
  • (Optional) If you can, try adding more Wooloo pics.
    • I fear given the size of the article adding more than one might get called out for fair use rationale if I add another.
      • That’s why it’s optional

Very well then, I will pass it. Brachy08 (Talk) 10:10, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Info from Pokemon Journeys

[edit]

Can you add information about Wooloo from Pokémon Journeys? If you added information about Wooloo from Twilight Wings, it would make sense to do Pokemon Journeys as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PyukumukuAce (talkcontribs) 13:59, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No secondary reliable sources really covering that I'm afraid.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 14:31, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dynamax revert

[edit]

@Kung Fu Man If Dynamax can't be mentioned, as it was reported in several reliable sources, so can't Pokémon GO in general, as you said "it's still just, well, Wooloo" (actually, Dynamax Wooloo isn't just Wooloo, when in fact other appearances are simply just Wooloo, so in reality, it should be the opposite, other appearances are irrelevant when compared to dynamaxxing). Web-julio (talk) 20:27, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Web-julio it is a minor aspect of gameplay that does not primarily involve Wooloo. It is not even solely important for Wooloo, as it was announced alongside several Pokémon getting the ability, such as Skwovet and Charmander. This is one gameplay mechanic that is constantly receiving new updates for more Pokémon as well, so it's not like it's part of an exclusively small group in that game. Wooloo is not really that relevant to it, and it is not really that relevant to Wooloo. Has one ever considered Magneton? Pokelego999 (talk) 20:46, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
