Tammileru is a medium river which forms boundary between Krishna district and West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh state. It is the area which is often affected by floods. The river drains into Kolleru lake.

Tammileru dam was constructed in the year 1980 to irrigate 3720 hectares land.[1]
