Ice Bucket Challenge
[edit]- ... that due to the viral meme "the Ice Bucket Challenge" (pictured), the ALS Association received over $41.8 million in donations since mid-2014?
- Comment:
The hook is rather wordy, I'm open to suggestions for how to improve it.

ALT 1 ... that the Ice Bucket Challenge (pictured) raised over 15.6 million dollars for the ALS Association within a 21-day period, 800% more than was raised in within the same time frame of the previous year?
- At its current state, there are still quite a few uncited statements in this article, and the concerns surrounding the relevance of having the list of nominees in the article. I would pass it if these were addressed. ViperSnake151 Talk 19:54, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- The list of participants was moved to a stand-alone article, so that issue should be taken care of. I'll get on the lack of referencing.--¿3family6 contribs 21:07, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- The article apparently has undergone a lot of revisions since I nominated it. I'm updating the hook to per the revised article. The sourcing of the article seems better now, though it needs some expansion in some areas, which I will address if no-one else does in the meantime.--¿3family6 contribs 15:55, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
