Local elections were held in the Province of Laguna on May 10, 2004 as part of the 2004 Philippine general election. Voters selected candidates for all local positions: a municipal/city mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the four districts of Laguna.[1]

Incumbent Danilo Fernandez is not seeking reelection instead he is running for Governor. Edwin Olivarez is Lazaro's nominee his opponents is Ramon de Roma, Emilio Tiongco and Alex Garcia.[1]
