If you want, lets make a deal on who does what; I would like you to do the finishing table while I finish the Race Summary section. Deal or No deal, please reply. --Nascar1996 20:46, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deal. I can do tables since you don't like to do them. I can also copyedit if necessary, and add those missing commas. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 21:18, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. --Nascar1996 21:25, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please vote keed for this Afd!!!--Nascar1996 19:45, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've closed it per WP:SNOW. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 19:55, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, just in case you forgot, 2010 Showtime Southern 500' Results table needs to be finished. Here is a site to go to.--Nascar1996 23:59, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can't work on it at the moment, since I haven't watched the race yet. Working on it now would spoil the winner. I will work on it after I watch the race. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 00:02, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. --Nascar1996 00:30, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since it was Friday, and you still havn't worked on the Race results, I did them. If you can, on normal race weeks (This week isn't one) I would like to have the Race Results done by Wednesday or Thursday. Also, I know you probably havn't watched it yet, but I have finished everything on 2010 Autism Speaks 400 exepth for your part on the Race Results. Thanks. --Nascar1996 21:38, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Have you completed watching the recent races yet? --Nascar1996 01:32, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where I'm not sure, I would like to ask you if you believe that Tarheelarmybrat may be a sock puppet of JeREmYForT21111, or the opposite way? I believe that they are, if you want to see each edit they did please go here and here. Thanks. --Nascar1996 20:18, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like block evasion. Tarheelarmybrat is currently blocked. JeREmYFor21111 looks like a sockpuppet. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 20:23, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
One has only one edit (Tarheelarmybrat) while the other has two, though.--Nascar1996 21:01, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have reported this to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tarheelarmybrat. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 22:46, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at the history of Jimmie Johnson, and JeREmYFor21111 came first. You were right and I was wrong on who the original account was. ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ messagechanges) 22:48, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for dealing with this. --Nascar1996 23:21, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for 42 (song)

The DYK project (nominate) 00:03, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Two questions: 1) Have you read WP:DTTR? 2) Why, exactly, did you object to this edit? I was citing an unsourced claim of sexual assault against a living person, and also removing an erroneous claim that the reference did not support. Please try to be more careful next time. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 20:00, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sunshine

Sunshine!
Hello NerdyScienceDude! Meaghan :) has given you a bit of sunshine to brighten your day! Sunshine promotes WikiLove and hopefully it has made your day better. Spread the sunshine by adding {{subst:User:Meaghan/Sunshine}} to someone else's talk page, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. In addition, you can spread the sunshine to anyone who visits your userpage and/or talk page by adding {{User:Meaghan/Sunshine icon}}. Happy editing! Meaghan :) 01:51, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! ~NerdyScienceDude () 01:54, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please Help Me

I am trying to fet the new reftoolbar for the beta version so I can add references easier, but when I added importScript('User:Mr.Z-man/refToolbar 2.0.js'); and refreshed the page it did not work; could you tell me what could be wrong? If you would like to use it, it is located here--Nascar1996 02:02, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I already use it, and it works great. Do you happen to have the gadget checked in your preferences? If so, uncheck it and it should work. ~NerdyScienceDude () 02:05, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It still does not want to work; I must work on it until I geet it fixed. Thanks for the information. --Nascar1996 02:21, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Did you WP:BYPASS? ~NerdyScienceDude () 02:32, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I may need to do the refreshing on a different computer, where my internet is not running right. --Nascar1996 12:42, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
When I refreshed it on my other computer, it worked, but when I tried on my computer, it wouldn't.--Nascar1996 14:26, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Try going to Preferences --> Editing and uncheck "enable enhanced editing toolbar". This should give you the old toolbar with the things you're used to, given you've activated refTools in the "gadgets" section of your preferences. Try it :). Airplaneman 16:23, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(Airplaneman) I have tried that but it would also no work correctly. --Nascar1996 16:34, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

@Airplaneman - This is refToolbar 2.0, which is designed for the enhanced editing toolbar. Unchecking that option isn't going to work. ~NerdyScienceDude () 22:46, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm... not sure then. Have you tried a different browser? Airplaneman 00:08, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I added you to my QUI friends. Hope you don't mind :) Airplaneman 00:15, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
@Airplaneman I did try to do it on a different compurter and it worked. --Nascar1996 00:16, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Of course I don't mind. I installed QUI a few days ago and I like the fact it will show me your status when I'm not at your user page. ~NerdyScienceDude () 00:18, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I finally got it to work! Thanks for all of your help. --Nascar1996 03:24, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cool! For (my) future reference, what did you do to fix it? Airplaneman 15:54, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
To fix mine I had to delete all the history on my computer, then I had to unchect it in the prefrences, and I had to clear the cache on my computer. --Nascar1996 20:31, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Thanks! Airplaneman 20:47, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! --Nascar1996 21:06, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your suggestion regarding iAd. When you believe an article needs improvement, please feel free to make those changes. So, add that info! Cheers, moɳo 02:01, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how that information should be implemented, which is why I asked on that article's talk. ~NerdyScienceDude () 16:16, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage

Hey, I fixed some stray coding on your userpage. Hope you don't mind :). Also, can I copy your userpage's editnotice? Airplaneman 15:53, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Of course you may use the code of my editnotice, afterall I don't own anything. I guess you like my stop sign design. ~NerdyScienceDude () 16:15, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I do :). Going ahead with the copy :) Airplaneman 16:30, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if the format used on pages like User Ezhiki (see PLaces traveled) should be passed dow n in a line, but I've stolen NSD's editnotice also. Ahould Airplaneman start a second one, continue with mine, or do whatever he wants since this is too petty to be of mention? Buggie111 (talk) 03:54, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage Vandalism

An IP vandalized your page; a user reverted it. You can have your page protected so new users and IPs cannot edit it.--moɳo 16:19, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome, and I wish you good luck with the mop. I'm pretty sure you linked the wrong RfA in the template though. I don't see 99 supports in Example's RfA. ~NerdyScienceDude () 19:40, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) Hah! I just noticed that too. :) Hi878 (talk) 19:46, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) And no, that doesn't mean that I checked your talk page as soon as he added it... I'm not a stalker... Hi878 (talk) 19:47, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Um, the text in the parentheses says "talk page stalker," which means you are a stalker, I meant jaguar. ~NerdyScienceDude () 19:51, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my, you've discovered my true identity... Hi878 (talk) 19:53, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I missed a parameter in the template I used and it took me a while to spot that (as well as the typo plus the template not putting support, oppose and neutral in the plural) before ending up doing a copy-paste with the correct version. You voted for me early on so you got a messy thanks I'm afraid. Regards -- Александр Дмитрий (Alexandr Dmitri) (talk) 20:01, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'll think about it. This is the second time I have received this notice; the first was from Kayau (talk · contribs). ~NerdyScienceDude () 23:04, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I remember seeing that. You should think faster, though, because we really need more people. :) Or at least, more motto suggestions. We've had far too many emergency situations where we barely have enough lately. Hi878 (talk) 23:08, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: You should be an admin

Thanks for the endorsement. However, Requests for adminship is a scary place. Anyway, I don't think I'm yet qualified for the mop as I don't usually participate in WP:ANI discussions, or go to WP:AIV very much anymore, etc. And it's always more useful to just dump admin work on other people when I need something done. Cacti

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

Cactuses is the plural of Cactus, not Cacti. It is commonly called cacti, but because it is of Greek origin, not Latin (which it is commonly mistaken as being from). Therefore, it is not Cacti (as it would be if of latin origin), but rather Cactuses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.14.177.47 (talk) 04:10, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter.--moɳo 04:43, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

←While 78.5.4.3.3.53.36.3.5.2.6774.4.5.67 is right (the term is cacti), must we talk about it? Is it worth edit-warring about? Quoting Fetchcomms/Lawlar (hey, are they sockpuppets?!?!?!?) : Go write an article.--moɳo 04:49, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, erm... they said it wasn't "cacti". I said it was either. And yes, it is worth talking about, and no, I did not edit war. I write and work on plenty of articles, thanks. Airplaneman 04:56, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal Space

If you find this encyclopedia or its sister projects useful, please consider making a donation. Donations are used primarily for purchasing server equipment. Also, you can help the project by not consuming extra space. Your vandalism space was filled with several huuuuuuge images which take forever to load, crash browsers, and put a great deal of strain on servers. What if every user did that? Btw, I am MfDing it as it seems quite useless.--moɳo 05:13, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And the "extra space" consumed by 1 of the over 20 million total pages is extremely negligible. Deleted pages aren't really deleted, anyway, and consume space anyway (evidence: they may be restored). And just think: each edit you make causes the whole page to be saved again. See WP:PRUNE. So basically, if you want to stop consuming "extra space", stop editing. Airplaneman 20:11, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Really mono? Really? Airplaneman 05:16, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Why exactly did you clear the page? Seems to me like the discussion hasn't ended yet, or maybe I'm just crazy. Hi878 (talk) 05:57, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
@Mono - This MfD is a waste of time on my opinion. Go write an article rather than worry about my vandal space. ~NerdyScienceDude () 22:00, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And mono, I would suggest discussing it with NSD first instead of sending it straight to MFD. That way, it has less potential of ruffling feathers. Airplaneman 22:23, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problem

I probably won't be able to edit Wikipedia for a few days, so I want to point out to you a little problem that I just discovered, so that it can still be fixed. Just go to Shunan English School. Read the first seven lines, and the problem will be self-explanatory. I'm not entirely sure how to handle that, and I have to go, possibly for a few days, so... So I'll let you sort it out. :) Hi878 (talk) 05:49, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will take a look at it. ~NerdyScienceDude () 14:17, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the last paragraph as it violates WP:NPOV. ~NerdyScienceDude () 14:24, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cunard got to it before you did. :) That paragraph was all that was left. The entire article was calling the head of the school evil, basically. As you can see, almost all of the revisions were redacted. Hi878 (talk) 17:10, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Userspace protection

That is totally unnecessary, but it gives me an excuse to experiment with Twinkle, so I've semi-protected everything currently in your user or user talk space. Let me know if anything needs unprotecting (Twinkle doesn't discriminate, though I unchecked your .js and .css pages because they're protected anyway). Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:24, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I need User:NerdyScienceDude/Touch Pets Dogs unprotected since it's an article draft that will eventually be in the mainspace. ~NerdyScienceDude () 21:59, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Another option would be to just copy and paste the text into the mainspace article while deleting the draft. Airplaneman 22:06, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What's the magic word? :P HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:07, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) @Airplaneman - Um, copy and paste is depreciated, since it destroys the page history. Moving is the preferred method. ~NerdyScienceDude () 22:08, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think magic words are needed; since you asked for one, here you go: please. ~NerdyScienceDude () 22:09, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Copy and paste moves don't really matter if you're the only contributor, but you might want to take credit for the extra mainspace edits! I've unprotected it for you. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:21, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. ~NerdyScienceDude () 22:23, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Any time. I still think it's unnecessary, but it's not like I had to do more than press 2 buttons! Slightly worrying that if i pressed the wrong 2 buttons, I could have deleted them all, but hey, you got lucky ;) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:27, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:NerdyScienceDude/Vandalism space

Hey NSD. I've gone ahead and moved User:NerdyScienceDude/Vandalism space back to its original location after you moved it to User:NerdyScienceDude/Sandbox 2, due to the fact that pages should not be moved in the middle of a deletion discussion. If you need a second sandbox, you can always just create the new page; there is really no need to perform the move, as the two pages (vandalism and sandbox) are irrelevant to each other. It also generates confusion during the discussion. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 01:33, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Steve Ritchie, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. ~NerdyScienceDude () 19:49, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I reverted myself ;) ~NerdyScienceDude () 19:51, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please sign your talkbacks so the archive bot properly archives them. ~NerdyScienceDude () 20:27, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Andy & Kouros. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. ~NerdyScienceDude () 23:44, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh crap, I reverted myself again. Hopefully igloo will soon mark all of my edits green. ~NerdyScienceDude () 23:52, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nice job! :) I haven't managed to do that yet. I've blacklisted several others, though, as you know. :) Hi878 (talk) 00:44, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I igloo, but what are you talking about?--mono 00:46, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
He means he reverted others by mistake, therefore marking all of their edits as vandalism. Airplaneman 03:10, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bot and comments

I placed a comment on a page with the word crap in it. Your bot seemed to revert the entire edit. Did you want this behaviour (to scan comments for black listed words)? It doesn't seem appropriate to me. See Symbian OS for instance. Bpringlemeir (talk) 00:49, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Err, that is Symbian platform. Bpringlemeir (talk) 01:01, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I was using WP:Igloo, which detects certain words and character strings. I thought a hidden comment saying "This is crap" was vandalism. I'm sorry if that edit was performed in good-faith. And no, I am human, not a bot. ~NerdyScienceDude () 03:24, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Fat Man, you may be blocked from editing. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. ~NerdyScienceDude () 19:35, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are such a disruptive editor! Stop this vandalism immediately! We will not tolerate you for much longer! Hi878 (talk) 19:48, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You know, if you do this two more times, Igloo will report you to AIV. That will look pretty funny, you reporting yourself. :) Hi878 (talk) 19:51, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. I rollback my mistake reverts in igloo, and it templates me. I'm hoping igloo will have an undo feature soon. ~NerdyScienceDude () 20:09, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
