[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Blackwing 602; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Andy Dingley (talk) 19:58, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 09:22, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

not original research

Decline reason:

Try again without the personal attacks. WP:GAB explains how to craft an acceptable unblock request. Yamla (talk) 19:16, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This is something acknowledged on the podcast numerous times. Not vandalism, and even if it were it is not by itself worthy of a block. Materialiscientist is a perfect example of what is wrong with Wikipedia, and why it's still a joke. He should be banned for abuse of power. It is probably the latest example in a pattern of behaviour going back years.

Request reason:

not original research, not personal attack This block and the review of it clearly violate the policy that blocks not be punitive, that they aren't to retaliate or to punish. My edit was not original research. My comments in my review request were not a personal attack but an accurate description of Materialscientist's actions. It's funny, Wikipedia is currently again begging for money. This kind of thing is part of the reason few people want to donate. It's not a real encyclopedia and will never be taken seriously in the world as long as there are people like Materialiscientist and Yamla running things.

Decline reason:

As you are continuing with the attacks, simply deny what you were blocked for without explanation, and don't seem to really want to be unblocked, I am declining your request and removing talk page access. If your attitude and behavior do not change, your next block will likely be longer. 331dot (talk) 19:39, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
