April 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Q (Star Trek), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Estelle Harris, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 20:33, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Sonia Manzano. Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Sonia Manzano. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Welcome![edit]

Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Please don't make trivial edits[edit]

Please don't make trivial edits, e.g. help:dummy edit such as this edit. It doesn't change how the article looks and fills up the wp:page history unnecessarily. If you want to see if an edit does anything, click on the wp:Show preview button. That will show you how the page would look (for the most part) with that edit. Changing the case on the first letter of a link or template will do nothing as the Wikipedia compiler always capitalized it. e.g. {{Short description}} and {{short description}} as well as Estelle Harris and estelle Harris compile to the same result. So please don't change link case unless you are making another significant change or it is necessary to show the correct case. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 08:51, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia' policy of wp:verifiability, you need to wp:cite a wp:reliable source for info such as this. See help:referencing for beginners. If you can't find an RS, please don't add it. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 08:58, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiability[edit]

Please do not edit war to re-insert uncited material. Keep in mind that WP:V is a core policy here. Thank you. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:42, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please use the Show preview button[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 03:56, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
